A Romantic Couple

A romantic couple were sitting and were so involved with each other that they caught the attention of the waitress. Suddenly, the waitress noted that the man was slowly sliding down his chair and was out of sight under the table while the woman acted unconcerned, calm and unruffled as if she was unaware about the strange act and disappearance of her dining companion. The waitress couldn’t control herself, came over to the table and said to the woman, “Pardon me, ma’am, but I think your husband just slid under the table.” The woman looked up at her and said, “Don’t you worry dear. We just saw him walking in the door.”
